After picking you up from your hotel, leaving Cappadocia behind and getting to Konya province of  Turkey, we will visit Sultanhani Caravanserai as the first stop of our “Tour from Cappadocia to Konya”.

This place, which was built on Silk Road, was used as a hotel in a way, and it is quite important for its location and the design that carries the Seljuk architecture. That is why, its glamour will brighten your day and it will please your eyes completely.

Mevlana Museum

During our trip to Konya from Cappadocia, we will visit Mevlana Museum.

This museum is dedicated to Mevalana, as known as the top of the Islamic philosophers. His tomb will be the main visit point in there, and you will learn about his life, works and importance.

Also, in the museum, you will be able to view things that dervishes used or made, such as dervish cells (being used for praying or finding the ultimate peace), kitchens, pieces of the art of calligraphy work, special fabrics, clothes, accessories and etc.

In other words, the entire place will reflect the humble and pure life of dervishes.

Aladdin Mosque on Aladdin Hill

Also, we will follow the path along the Aladdin Hill and get to Aladdin Mosque.

The significance of this mosque is its age, for sure: It was built by Seljuks, approximately 1000 years ago!

That is why, it is also known as the oldest architectural building of Seljuk Empire.

In its courtyard, we will be able to observe the tombs of many of the Seljuk sultans.

Then, we will visit the remains of the palace, and a portal of Medrese (a kind of an ancient school that teaches theology).
